Marillion formed in 1979 and have sold over 15 million albums worldwide. Rightly regarded as legends of progressive rock, the band have also continued to evolve and have been keen to embrace the possibilities of the internet, using innovative ways to interact with listeners resulting in an incredibly loyal legion of fans around the world.
1999′s Marillion.com was one of first of these internet based promotions as the band used the web to ask for fans to send them passport pictures of themselves and 732 of these were then used to make up the artwork for the album. 5 of the 9 tracks were mixed by Steven Wilson from Porcupine Tree.
For this new Madfish edition, the album is packed in a deluxe 36 page digibook and the artwork has been re-worked by original designer Carl Glover. The book features unseen pictures not used in the original artwork.
